PSS-Pass
In recent years, industrial companies have sought to enhance their products by introducing services as fundamental value-added activities, focusing on the concept of product service systems (PSS). Their aim is to leverage PSS to improve product use and reduce environmental impact. The EU-funded PSS-Pass project will examine the operation and efficiency of PSS and digital product passports (DPP). The data collected will be used to explore how DPP can be expanded into a Digital Product Service System Passport (DPSSP) to enhance the circularity of the manufacturing industry. The DPSSP is expected to facilitate the implementation of machine learning, additive manufacturing, and other innovative technologies.
