AmIMoses

The main objective of the AmIMoSES project is to improve energy efficiency by introducing Ambient Intelligence (AmI)* aspects into traditional energy consumption monitoring in manufacturing SMEs. To achieve this goal, the AmIMoSES project will develop an energy consumption monitoring system that uses ambient intelligence (AI) and can be used by manufacturing SMEs to provide comprehensive information, feedback, and support to improve energy efficiency. Energy consumption data is fed into a platform and supplemented with information from the following sources:

• Ambient intelligence systems (which can monitor interactions between people and machines, for example);
• Process-related measurements (e.g., to measure temperatures on the production line). The platform will contribute to the development of various software services to improve energy efficiency.
